It features 2 different bags in one. to use as a backpack you just remove the shoulder straps from the back zipper pocket and attach the strap clips to the bottom d-rings. To use as a messenger back you remove the strap from the side pocket and attach to the side D-ring. Both versions have zipper closure pockets to store the excess straps.
