Steel Frame & Ribs: Our frame is comprised of 8 ribs of corrosion-treated steel and flexible fiberglass. This means a canopy that will resist wind, and avoid the bending or warping of ribs that tends to put umbrellas in the trash.
Most umbrellas - even many of those claiming to be "windproof" - use an aluminum frame that saves some cost, but compromises strength.
