Job Description

Luggage Factory located in the Flemington/Ringoes, NJ area is a rapidly growing, brick and mortar and online specialty retail company. We sell luggage, travel accessories, business and laptop cases, casual bags and small leather goods to the local area as well as nationally through www.LuggageFactory.com. We currently have openings for full and part time Retail Sales Associates.

Candidates must have reliable transportation and be able to work retail hours, including weekends. Flexible schedules available. This is a great opportuinity for Retirees, Mothers, and Students.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Learning travel goods features, benefits, and technical specifications.
• Identifying customer’s goals and travel needs.
• Presenting customers with recommendations based on those needs.
• Closing sales and professionally handling operations at the point of sale.
• Following up with customers after the sale to ensure 100% customer loyalty.
• Maintaining a “Perfect Floor” and “Perfect Store” status in the store.
• Assisting with daily store operations in alignment with corporate goals.
• Supporting the needs of the Corporate Office and the efforts of the Marketing Dept.
• Assist with receiving of store merchandise.

Qualifications:

• Must have 1+ years Retail Sales experience and/or Retail Store Management experience.
• Must have an outstanding attitude and commitment to Customer Service.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must feel confident making presentations in one-on-one and/or group settings.
• Must be very well organized and extremely detail-oriented.
• Must be extremely personable and able to build rapport with customers.
• Must exhibit professionalism and confidence in dealing with others.
• Must thrive working independently as well as in a team environment.
• Must be a team player and willing to go the extra mile for a team member.
• Must be able to utilize a computer.
• Must be able to lift 40 Lbs.
• Interest or experience in the travel industry a plus!

Competitive Compensation

• Base ($10 - $12/hour) plus commission

Duties Include:

• Pick and pack.
• Loading and unloading truck in shipping/receiving.
• Creating UPS Shipping Labels
• Receiving, labeling and stocking merchandise received from vendors
• General warehouse organization
• Maintaining a clean and functioning work area.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed

Heavy lifting is required (75 lbs).

Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic.

Ability to work well with others in a group

Must have good communication skills

This is an hourly position: $10-$12/hour

Job Description
LuggageFactory.com, a rapidly growing Travel and Business eCommerce web site, is looking for an experienced, self motivated, problem solver with strong interpersonal skills and an intimate grasp of how website analytics can impact businesses decisions and affect online marketing campaigns. Confidence and independence are your keys to success with this position. The environment is intense, yet non-corporate and open-minded.

If developing marketing campaigns, crunching numbers and measuring the effectiveness of online marketing campaigns drives you, then we have an entrepreneurial environment for you to grow in. This dynamic position requires a responsive awareness of our goals, while having the aptitude to provide recommendations to increase efficiency and profitability.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing the web marketing solution and ensuring campaigns are being optimized from the following sources: pay per click advertising, search engine optimization, outbound marketing campaigns, e-mail communications, organic traffic, affiliate traffic, emerging markets (RSS/blog/podcasting) and offline TV/print/media. This includes SEO, PPC advertising, link popularity building, and strategic tracking and reporting. You will be responsible for managing these campaigns within the web-marketing budget to increase qualified web customer traffic and conversion.

The web marketing and analytics specialist will be responsible for defining relevant website performance metrics, analyzing data and producing clear and useful reports on a monthly basis. These reports will be shared with senior management, web merchandisers and customer service staff. This process requires excellent communication skills and a strong team player attitude.

You will be responsible for contributing to the internal knowledge base on the subject of web marketing and analytics. You will always be on the look out for better tools and techniques to streamline our marketing and analytics process, improve customer experience, and deliver a superior service.
