Skyway Luggage

In 2010, Skyway Luggage Company celebrated its 100th anniversary. After a century of business, Skyway celebrated not only reaching this milestone, but also the dedication and hard work it took to get there. Founded in 1910 by A.J. Kotkins, Skyway began its legacy as the Seattle Suitcase Trunk and Bag Manufacturing Company.

Inspired by the promise of the budding air travel industry in the 1930's, the company began producing hand luggage, calling the pieces "Sky Way… Styled for the Sky". The company expanded its sales nationwide after the end of World War II and shifted its focus from trunks and footlockers to suitcases. In 1955, the company officially adopted the name Skyway Luggage Company and enjoyed great success as an innovative force in the luggage industry, introducing such features as chrome hardware, vinyl covering, and, in 1972, wheeled luggage.

Since then, Skyway has expanded its reach worldwide and has maintained its reputation for producing inventive and well-designed luggage. In February 2012, Skyway Luggage Company was acquired by Ricardo Beverly Hills, and now operates out of La Mirada, California. Skyway is proud of its long history and strives to continue on the quest to create fresh, progressive and functional products that are relevant to the evolving needs and lifestyle of the modern traveler.

Skyway Epic 28in Expandable 2 Wheel Upright

So far, this luggage has held out. It fits well in over head as we do travel a lot that only requires us to take this size.

Skyway Sigma 5 16in Shoulder Tote

Almost Perfect

Skyway Epic 25in Expandable 2 Wheel Upright

Almost Perfect

Bought a couple of for my teenage kids. It is narrower than most, easier to wheel down train aisles. It seems made well enough to last 4 or 5 years of student travel. As a budget bag, it only has a few inside zip pockets. 25" roller cases are generally an ideal size for multi-day trips, almost impossible to exceed the airlines' 50lb weight limit. This bag's capacity is slightly smaller than some other 25" cases, again worth it if you travel a lot by train.

Skyway Fl-Air 20in Expandable Spinner Carry On

Sworks Great, Packs Well, Easy To Maneuver

Lightweight, cute color, made it to Miami, on the cruise ship and back home intact and it was fully loaded at 30 pounds. I do wish you could lock the two front pockets but since it was with me not that big of a deal.
