Cruises that touch on several countries are another great way to tour Europe. The Baltic Cruises focuses mostly on Northern Europe. This vacation was taken in the Jewel of the Seas. It is a cruise ship belonging to the Norwegian Cruise Line.  

This cruise line tours in all four corners of the world. Currently, the European crises tour the Mediterranean and Greek Isles and the Northern Europe.  

The Northern Europe version has 15 kinds of vacations to match your means. The cheapest trip is a 9 day Baltic Capitals from Copenhagen trip. It cost 500 US dollars per person.

The most expensive one is the 12- days Gardens and Castles of Copenhagen Cruise tour. This one sells for 2308 USD per person.

These photos were taken in June 1 to June 29 2008. It was a special 30 day tour of the Baltic Sea. As of now, this tour is not available in the NCL cruise line.

The cruise visited the cities of Tallinn in Estonia, London in the UK, Helsinki in Finland, Copenhagen in Denmark; Waterloo and Molly Train in Germany, Estocolmo in Switzerland, and St. Petersburg in Russia.   

The Norwegian Jewel is part of the Jewel class ships of the Norwegian Cruise Line. It has some of the largest bedrooms. Inside tourist can find 16 dining rooms, 13 bars and nightclubs. The bedrooms are all finely furnished. They also have rooms for both the disabled and the healing impaired.

The restaurants are all very beautiful. Some of the best are the Azura Main Dining room, the Garden Café, O’sheehan’s Irish Pub and the Sky Bar and Grill.

The cruise also offers specialty Norwegian food. They also have a Japanese, Brazilian and Italian restaurants. If you simply want deserts, visit Carlo’s Bake shop at Java Café.

Aside from restaurants this cruise has the usual casinos, swimming pools, basketball courts, fitness centers, ect. They also have six hot tubs in six different locations of the cruise. They have been placed there for your convenience.

Families will be pleased with the Sapphire Kid’s Pool. It has two slides and a hot tub for your little ones. It is surrounded by hundreds of sun beds where you can rest while keeping an eye on your little one.

The cruise also has several Galleria Ships. They have a lot of curiosity items ranging from Bathing Suits to gifts. Aside from it, visitors can find a library and a video arcade.

The cruise also has a circus which does nightly performances. They also have comedians and magicians. The most interesting event is the Band on the Run and the White Hot Party. The Band on the Run is themed after a 70s party. The white Hot Party is pool party, with dance, LED lights and white attires.
